Reporting to the Programme Manager, the Project Manager ensures a smooth project experience for all clients. They are responsible for the day-to-day operations of projects, including planning, organizing, and executing from beginning to end. This may include but is not limited to:
Working with the team to develop and implement project management practices as needed
Serving as the client point of contact (where needed) and creating project documentation such as project plans, schedules, and meeting agendas
Monitoring project progress and communicating status updates internally and with clients
Monitoring client requests and ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner
Updating and maintaining project information in a project management software
Proactively identifying risks and potential roadblocks
Managing communication flow between team members and clients
Assisting with proposal creation
Recording meeting notes and sharing them with the team and clients
Assigning tasks to team members
Facilitating project debriefs, ensuring learning and innovation are incorporated into future processes
Bachelor’s Degree and/or Project Management Certificate
PMP (or PMP in progress) considered an asset
3 - 5 years of relevant experience
Exceptional organizational skills
Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts
Knowledge and understanding of project coordination and scheduling using Trello, Asana, Airtable, or similar.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Agency experience would be considered an asset
