Roles & Responsibilities:
We’re looking for someone interested in solving real-world business challenges for large B2B companies. Reporting to Outshine’s Analytics Practice Lead and working closely with the advertising team, the Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for helping their colleagues find and understand data and helping them answer questions related to digital marketing performance.
In this role, you will:
Help your team members use data to answer questions relating to their clients’ businesses, including marketing and sales performance
Test & optimize analytics tags on an ongoing basis
Proactively monitor analytics issues across client assets, including website, social channels, and so on
Build reports & automation processes
Stay on top of latest research, tools, and techniques for tracking and measurement
For you to be the best fit for this role, you’re:
Passionate about business and using data/technology to solve marketing challenges
A strong communicator—clear communication is paramount
Self-motivated & organized—you can manage your own tasks and adapt to changing client requirements
Driven to help your colleagues and clients succeed in their marketing efforts
Experienced with data manipulation in Excel/Google Sheets
Proficient in SQL
Proficient in Python, Ruby, or other dynamic scripting languages
Experience with Google Analytics and/or Google Tag Manager considered an asset
Experience with the Google Cloud Platform considered an asset
