Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

Reporting to Outshine’s president and working closely with the leadership team, the marketing consultant is responsible for guiding the advertising practice within the company.

This role is a mix between strategist and executer; you must be able to lead and do. You will:

  • Play an important role in the growth of our clients’ businesses, using advertising to drive demand, leads, and revenue

  • Guide our team of analysts and associates in determining and executing the best digital advertising strategies for our clients

  • Work with the team to develop and refine internal standards and processes across all strategies and deliverables

  • Develop custom advertising campaigns, including strategy, copywriting, execution & monitoring

  • Consult with clients on a range of opportunities, tools, and platforms in the digital marketing space, primarily as they relate to overall marketing strategy, digital advertising, reporting, demand & revenue generation

  • Serve as the go-to contact for clients, including responsibilities as they relate to project and account management

About You:

For you to be the best fit for this role, you’re:

  • A senior-level marketer (we don’t necessarily judge this by years, but rather by experience and accomplishment)

  • Happy getting your hands dirty in the day-to-day operations of overseeing a team

  • Curious by nature and driven to learn, with an insatiable appetite to collaborate on complex business challenges with clients and team members

  • Passionate about marketing & technology; it’s what we do, and we care about it deeply. You must too.

  • Driven to deliver the best work to your colleagues and clients—we never settle for “good enough,” and you can’t either

  • A proven advertiser, with a track record of performance marketing success

  • Comfortable working on complicated ad campaigns with significant budgets

  • Experienced in a range of digital advertising and measurement platforms including AdWords, Bing, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google Analytics

  • Experienced in B2B marketing strategy, challenges, and opportunities

  • Knowledgeable in modern CRM/marketing automation tools is an asset, such as Marketo, Salesforce, etc.

  • Able to travel: this role requires on-site visits with clients outside of Halifax/Canada, as well as travel related to business development, training, etc.
